About our class:
-What is civics?
Civics is the study of citizenship and government. This includes the roles and responsibilities of citizens and their leaders.
We will cover the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, the three branches of government, state and local governments, how we pay for government, the primary and general election, and what it really means to be an active citizen in school, at home, in your community, and in the United States.
Our Textbook:
Civics In Practice: Principles of Government and Economics
Students are not assigned individual textbooks, but may sign them out with the teacher's permission
